Poem on a blue wall
For`Aurora ,Dottie and Lisa K
at Elderberries
written September 26 at Elderberry while sipping Juice
Recited and improvised
Another magical night.
Each Word
is a door to be opened
that unlocks
another part of the mystery.
I hear the notes
of the teal blue wall
as music
rich tones of brass
a waterfall sound
gushes through me.
I sense
I am suspended in space
touching earth
feeling floors
all at the same time
a current rise up my calves
and thighs
brushes my genitals
with a soft warm caress
The chamber of my heart
sings
My lungs experience
the air moving through them
in effortless crescendos
swelling into
grand eloquent wonder
The whole Universe lights up
I am no longer afraid
I feel a peace
that passes all understanding
The beauty of life
breathes through
every pore
of my body
The sheer exhilaration
of existence triumphs
beats a drum
in my loneliness
A joy overtakes me
that is beyond
any human emotion
A sweetness
I have never known
brings me to celebration
Life says yes
from every corner
of the blackness
of the void
wipes away questions of meaning
I know
all is beauty
crying out in all things.
